Peter Rossa
Peter Rossa has over 25 years of IT management, logistics
management, management consulting and entrepreneurial experience.
He was Director IT of Deutsche Post letter Mail Division
with responsibility for the IT development. In this function
he led the development and project management for new applications
for the 326 sorting and sequencing machines within the new
83 letter mail sorting centre, development of a unified barcode
system and implementation of new routing structures for the
letter mail division.
He was Director IT for Deutsche Post Global Mail, and responsible
for the development of new international software applications
for track and trace, based on SAP R/3. He was Director for
REIMS and UPU Processes, business process reengineering of
all international handling and sorting processes within the
new international mail centre at Frankfurt Airport, and the
development of a new international accounting application
to handle all UPU and REIMS processes based on SAP R/3.
Peter gained considerable logistics experience as the Director
responsible for airfreight, sea freight and warehousing applications
for Kuehne & Nagel. This operational experience has been
interspersed with consulting engagements.
Peter Rossa is a graduate Economist and held master in IT
sciences from the University of Wuppertal and was certified
as a Rating Advisor in 2007.
